Building better men

Changing times and roles spark new ministries to nurture relationships and spiritual growth

After plodding along for years as a sleepy Saturday morning gathering for a dozen older die-hards, the men's Bible study at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Waverly, Iowa, expanded in 1997. Today the church has three lively sessions each week where men of all ages explore the Bible's insights into life's big problems.
