Leisha DeHart-Davis, a Lutheran, hadn't belonged to a
church in 10 years. In her late 20s and living in Atlanta, she began
looking for a congregation. She found Redeemer Lutheran Church.
"Other churches weren't as involved in the community," she said.
"[Redeemer] had a very welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. It's also a
downtown church, and I live in town." DeHart-Davis
joined Redeemer in 1994. Two years later she chairs the evangelism
board. "It's a very easy church to get involved in," she said.
