Changing your ELCA affiliation to the LCMS may seem as foreign as a potluck dinner of Jell-O and kim chee. But the International Lutheran Church in Seoul, South Korea, recently did both--and no one seemed to mind.
Here in Seoul the familiar and the foreign exist side by side, whether it's the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran ChurchMissouri Synod or the spicy pickled cabbage dish infamous in Korea and the familiar red Jell-O.
