What a party!

Lutheran World Federation celebrates 50 years, meets in Hong Kong a week after handover to China

Colorful balloons bounced from delegate to delegate. A German brass quintet played the William Tell Overture. Representatives from each continent danced onto the stage to their native music (North Americans chose When the Saints Go Marching In). The crowd waved streamers, cheered and sang, "Happy Birthday, LWF."
