On one Sunday this year, Arabic Community Christian Church baptized 14 people, ages 7 to 65. Not bad considering the Glendale, Calif., congregation baptized just three members the preceding year.
And Community isn't alone in its rapid rise in membership. The Arab and
Middle Eastern population is one of the fastest growing segments in the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
