Strawberries: the fruit of the devil? Sounds strange, but in Watsonville, Calif., the United Farmworkers demonized the luscious red fruit in efforts to unionize pickers who they claim are mistreated by farmers.
The growers responded with a video, The Fruit of Angels.
That may sound like heavy talk about something you put on your breakfast cereal. But in Watsonville, strawberries are king.
