Lutheran FBI agent dies in Montana

Kevin Kramer, 34, a Lutheran FBI agent, was killed April 14 in a car accident near the Freeman compound in Jordan, Mont. He died when his truck slid off a muddy road and overturned. Kramer's death was not directly related to the standoff between the FBI and the Freemen.

During the funeral service at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg, Pa., FBI Director Louis Freeh said Kramer was "wonderfully dedicated to the principle of protection, safety and rescue."

As the standoff enters its second month, members of St. John Lutheran Church, Jordan, continue to plan a healing service to be held once the stalemate is resolved.
