As assemblies came to a close, more than two-thirds of the synods took straw votes favoring the proposals regarding full communion with the Episcopal Church and with the three Reformed churches.
The proposals will be voted on at the Churchwide Assembly this month in Philadelphia (see pages 37, 38).
