St. Peter Lutheran Church in Monrovia, Liberia, is flourishing again. "The great wooden cross that dominates the sanctuary has looked down on both sacrament and sacrilege (600 people were massacred in the church July 30, 1990). The grave nearby witnesses to the terrible reality of diabolic evil. It is a mystery that makes no scientific sense.
