• Forwarded a resolution from American Lutheran, Long Prairie, Minn., to the Studies on Sexuality Task Force as "an expression of one congregation." American asked that the ELCA not adopt policy changes that contradict scriptural and confessional principles regarding human sexuality and homosexual behavior.
• Asked its bishop to share its disappointment with the Episcopal Church that the ELCA wasn't consulted about naming an Episcopal bishop who lives in contradiction to the ELCA's current sexuality statements and Vision and Expectations (guidelines for ELCA rostered clergy).
• Urged the Division for Ministry to recommend revising the ELCA constitution so congregations can appoint lay people to preside at communion when a pastor isn't available.
