Moses--complete with flowing robes and a curly gray beard--made a special appearance at Nativity Lutheran Church, St. Anthony, Minn., in February. Each year Gerald J. Hoffman, Nativity's pastor, dons his Moses costume to lead the fifth-graders preparing for first communion on an interactive journey along with their families.
