After his divorce in 1986, Leonard Capuzzi's relationships with his three daughters deteriorated. While he could not change his situation, Leonard decided to help others by using his background with at-risk teenagers and young adults.
In 1994 he started Positive Parenting Solutions Inc., an organization "dedicated to helping parents raise healthy, happy children in two-household families."
Now remarried, Capuzzi and his wife, Deborah, assemble psychologists, therapists, family and child guidance counselors, and educators to conduct eight-week courses on positive parenting at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Chester Springs, Pa.
