2004 contest: Make your own bookmark

Like Jorgen Salveson, you can make connections by creating a bookmark. Just enter the 2004 "Youngchurch" design contest.

Your bookmark should answer the question: "If you could tell a person one thing about God, what would it be?" When the contest is over, we'll find places to hand out the bookmarks. And finalists will receive a "Youngchurch" beach ball.

Project rules are:

• Design a bookmark that tells something about God. They should be about 2 1/2"-by-8 1/2" in size. Use markers, crayons, colored pencils or paint.

• Neatly print your name and age, along with your church's name and address on the back of your bookmark.

• Send entries by Sept. 13 to: "Youngchurch," The Lutheran, 8765 W. Higgins Rd., Chicago IL 60631.
