Good question

You can have fun learning more about those you love. Just ask!

During the last few years, I've found that the most interesting and effective way to get people talking is through a process called "creative questioning."

My alma mater, Bethel College, St. Paul, Minn., came up with a motto a few years ago for recruitment materials: "Begin with a Question." The brochure text went on to pose some not-so-common questions to help students better understand themselves and what they wanted from college and life.

Creative questioning gives family members the opportunity, as well as the desire, to share such things as favorite childhood recollections, vacation memories, life-changing moments and faith in God.
