Lutheran publications win awards

The Lutheran won eight awards for 1999, including three awards of excellence, at the Associated Church Press banquet March 30 in Chicago.

Editor David L. Miller accepted the top awards for magazine news story ("Indelible images" by Miller and Mark Moller-Gunderson, June), magazine photography with article ("Oh, my Kosovo" by Miller, June ) and professional resource ("Rewiring confirmation" by Michael L. Sherer and "Reframing confirmation" by Kathryn Christenson, May).

The Lutheran also received four awards of merit:
