13 percent Increase in the number of American adults since 1991 who are "unchurched," defined as not having attended a Christian church service other than for holidays, such as Christmas or Easter, or for special occasions, such as a wedding or funeral, in the past six months.

37 percent are single and have never been married.

51 percent live in the Northeast or West.

19 percent read the Bible every week.

63 percent pray every week.

17 percent consider Jesus Christ their savior.
