After years serving the public as a Chicago-area police officer, Ralph Caley retired to Arkansas to fish, play golf and relax. His retirement didn't last long. It ended soon after reading a newspaper article about becoming a volunteer for the Court Appointed Special Advocate (known as CASA), a national program that appoints adults to represent the best interests of a child in court.
