Can I pray 'in Jesus' name'?

Don't water down your faith when praying with others

I deeply respect people of all religious faiths. We should not only tolerate their beliefs but learn to understand them. As Christians we often conclude our prayers, "In Jesus' name." That offends some people. How should a Christian pray on occasions when people of many faiths are present?

Funerals with open caskets seem to focus on the body. Ethnic traditions of cremation, returning the body to dust, seem more natural. Is it true that one can't scatter the ashes because consecrated ground is necessary?
