Julio A. Fonseca is an experienced observer of racial dynamics in American life. He leads multicultural training workshops for the ELCA, U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency and NASA. A clinical psychologist, he also directs the Center for Personal Development at the University of the Sacred Heart, San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a member of Iglesia Luterana Getsemani, Dorado, Puerto Rico. Dorado, Puerto Rico. The Lutheran interviewed Fonseca about multiculturalism and the church's mission.
