Our flawed leaders

Why is morality taking a back seat to performance?

There is an "oughtness" to life, a recognition that our relationships with others should be a reflection of God's relationship with us. Our part in that relationship gets flawed from time to time and we have to regroup. We have to make every effort to avoid the excesses that tarnished us in the first place.

Our expectations of leadership involve more than competence in a task. The person, even more than the performance, should be the example. We deserve more character in our leaders than flaws.
