When I was asked to write this column, The Lutheran staff suggested I use the first one to introduce myself. So I'll do so by telling you what I love: I love this church — this sprawling, struggling, celebrating Lutheran church. From the time I was born this church has nourished me and given me the most blessed things in life. It introduced me to the single most important one in my life, Jesus Christ.
