Expecting a revised proposal for full communion with the Episcopal Church to be available this month, the ELCA Conference of Bishops encourages members, congregations, synods and seminary faculties to review the draft in light of the church's ecumenical policy — adopted in 1991 — and in conversation with Episcopalians.
