I was troubled by Gracia Grindal's response to Presiding Bishop H. George Anderson's visit with Called to Common Mission opponents (NovemberI wish Grindal would use her gift of language to pass on the blessings of forgiveness, healing and reconciliation. She is correct to point out that it may not be humanly possible to forgive the one who kills one's mother. But to live with hatred and revenge is not healthy. In the end it will consume and destroy. With God, forgiveness, reconciliation and newness of life is possible.
