As we race into a new millennium, many of us sense that we're entering a future that's also changing at blinding speed. One of the major forces driving that change is economic globalization. A decade ago when the Berlin Wall came down and the Soviet Union imploded, all centrally planned economies were thrown onto the trash bin of history. Now virtually every nation has joined the free-market race to the top. Today it's essential for church leaders to recognize that. We're all in one global economic order that is radically changing the world in which we live and practice our faith.
