Mothers are honored in May, and fathers will get their turn in June. I want to give a special salute to those mothers and fathers who must bring up their children alone.
Single parents have a tough job. Both my wife and I have experienced losing a spouse while there were still children at home. We learned how difficult it is to be a good parent when there is no one around to share the responsi bility.
