Full communion talks move ahead

Ecumenical interests are moving in two directions. A small planning committee of two members each from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and from the three Reformed churches that declared full communion last summer met Dec. 10 in Chicago. Eight days later a six-member drafting team and a 10-person advisory panel met to begin developing a new full communion proposal with the Episcopal Church.
