As Christians anticipate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we yearn for the reassurance of that angelic proclamation: "Glory to God in the highest heavens, and on earth peace, good will among people." This year the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks bring a new urgency to our quest for peace. And we wonder. What is peace and how do we find it, or make it? Ironically, this Christmas is the first in the Decade for Nonviolence.
