On with life

My daughter, Tracy, joined the Air Force two years ago and had a training accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. She has done nothing but push ahead since then. She is an inspiration for my wife and me.

Tracy drives a jet ski, competes in wheelchair tennis tournaments, and last winter went snow skiing in Vermont.

Many people would probably sit around and say, "Why me?" But Tracy doesn't stop moving and doing things. Without her faith, none of us would have made it.

I was in the dumps for about two years, but her spirit helped me out of it. I figured if Tracy can put up with this, then I need to get on with my life too.
