Disaster support unites ELCA, LCMS

"If you hear nothing else today, hear how much you are cherished by all of us," Bishop Stephen Bouman, Metropolitan New York Synod, told a congregation of several hundred ELCA and Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod clergy.  

Bouman greeted the group, gathered at the ELCA's Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Manhattan, for a service of prayer and sharing on Sept. 18 that was remarkable for is display of unity between the churches.
