An adoption baptism

Such love originates in God, whose child he really is

The call came in the middle of the night--the birth mother had gone into labor. Our son and daughter-in-law caught the next flight out, calling the hospital en route. Christopher Matthew had been born and mother and son were doing fine. What joy! They sped to the hospital and held their precious gift just 11 hours after his birth.

In the room with the baby and his 16-year-old birth mother were her parents and a younger brother and sister, waiting for the adoptive parents to arrive so Christopher could be baptized before he was turned over to their care.
