Faith to faith in fatigues

"There is more opportunity in the military for interfaith work than just about anywhere else," said Wester, who regularly ministers to five different faith groups of military personnel. His chaplaincy at Fort Dix has included 35 interfaith projects, including a joint Hanukkah/Christmas event. "In a lot of places, interfaith activities are explored as an experiment," he said. "For us in the military, it's not an experiment. It's a way of life."
