Colorado flooding

Lutheran Disaster Response continues long-term recovery work after flooding and mudslides damaged and destroyed more than 18,000 homes and businesses in Colorado in September. LDR is working through Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains, which is hiring case managers to help people affected by the floods. Megan Brandsrud of LDR said requesting aid can be overwhelming for some people, especially if English isn’t their first language. Funds are also being used to provide spiritual and emotional care.
