Pope orders time-out

While the controversial Preachers of L.A., an Oxygen reality show, focused on the excesses of some U.S. megachurch pastors, in Limburg, Germany, Pope Francis was busy ordering Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst, bishop of Limburg, to leave his diocese while the church launched an audit and investigation into diocesan affairs. Tebartz-van Elst, who wasn’t removed from office, is accused of spending 31 million euros ($43 million) in church funds on a luxury residence.
