Back-to-school help at www.elca.org/disaster

You can't "buy" healing, but $43,000 in ELCA Lutheran Disaster Response funds has brought many resources to Littleton, Colo., since the April 20 shootings at Columbine High School that have helped pastors, counselors, teachers, parents and students. Among these was a workshop for 190 school personnel, led by a Lutheran school psychologist and a family therapist from Florida, members of a crisis team called God's Care in Times of Crisis.

To help with the difficult back-to-school transition at Columbine and at other schools, too, advice from this team is posted on Lutheran Disaster Response's home page at www.elca.org/disaster.
