Pilgrim pews

When Pilgrim Lutheran in Carmel, Ind., had to move its church due to road construction, its pews became available for use. They donated them to a Roman Catholic parish in Mississippi that had been damaged by Hurricane Katrina, which member Douglas Lippert said had implications for interreligious relationship as well as just donated pews going to a good cause.
