But there's an E

Those familiar with the Sunday school song "I am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N," may appreciate Pete Warmanen's online video takeoff of the song for the ELCA Malaria Campaign. Warmanen, who made the video when he was pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Medford, Wis. (he now serves House of Prayer, Houston), makes a large mosquito puppet sing: "I am an M-O-S-Q-U-I-T-O ouch! And I go buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz. ... But there's an E. E-L-C-A." St. Paul has raised $1,500 for the ELCA Malaria Campaign, and is challenging other congregations to raise $1,500 by 2015 toward the campaign's goal of $15 million.
