Leaders protest drones

Christian and Jewish leaders told the Obama administration to stop using drones, declaring that “assassination by remote control” violates religious principles and just war theory. The president called for the use of drones to target those on active terrorism lists. Paul F.M. Zahl, retired Episcopal rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Chevy Chase, Md., told CNN that drones are “appalling” from a New Testament viewpoint, and “about as un-Christian a maneuver as I can imagine.”
