Deaths at church vigil

When a New Year's vigil in Luanda, Angola, drew more than the expected 70,000 attendees, 16 people died and 120 were injured, crushed by crowds trying to enter the Cidadela Desportiva stadium where the event was held. The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, a group begun 35 years ago in Brazil, organized the event.
