At the Greater Milwaukee Synod Assembly May 31-June 2, youth and young adults used quarters, cups and Twitter in a game that culminated in the offering at closing worship. Each day a word was posted to Twitter. Whenever a youth or young adult heard the word, they dropped a quarter into their cup.
"The subtle interruption of coins dropping would provide a small reminder that there were youth in the room," said Tracy Apps, synod communication director. (See "Topics range from malaria to refugees" for assembly reports).
