Lady Gaga a draw

Entertainment critics in the Philippines believe religious protests there helped Lady Gaga's two Manila concerts sell out in May.

About 40,000 concertgoers watched the pop star perform, despite vigils by Christian youth and a warning from Roman Catholic Archbishop Ramon Arguelles' that fans risked "falling into the clutches of Satan."

Other stops on Lady Gaga's Asia tour included South Korea, where fans under age 18 were banned from attending. Under pressure from Islamic protesters, police in Indonesia denied her a concert permit.
