Keeping peace in Libya

One year after the uprising that ended the late Moammar Gadhafi's 42-year dictatorship over Libya, Christian leaders stressed the need for reconciliation work in the north African country.

"We still have to keep praying and stressing peace and reconciliation," said Daniel Farrugia, vicar general of the Vicariate of Tripoli.

Religious leaders credit interfaith dialogue with helping to keep Christians safe in the majority Muslim country.
