In January we asked you what your congregation does to help members facing extraordinary medical problems. From the 10 plus letters we received, here is what some of you said.
At age 21, my daughter's ... tumor was discovered. One lady in church
brought us bags of groceries every month. ... Others brought stuffed
animals and meaningful gifts. ... The ladies of the church made her a
quilt [with] drawings and messages from so many at Sunday school and
church. Yes, Faith, DeLand, Fla., helped Karen and us by their constant
prayers that gave us great strength and by being there for us.
