If the Women of the ELCA's July gathering could be summed up in one word, it would be "anti-racism." Convening in St. Louis, almost 4,000 women heard an array of speakers cite racism as a sin to be eradicated if the church is to "Live God's Justice," in the words of the organization's three-year theme (based on Micah 6:8).
