Captain America vs. Corinthians

Who said: "We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don't know what to do, we never give up"?

In a recent poll more Americans attributed the passage to comic book hero Captain America, Martin Luther King Jr. and former President George W. Bush than to its actual source: 2 Corinthians.

The American Bible Society found that 12 percent of Americans correctly attributed the quote, while 56 did not. At 27 percent, King received the most misplaced credit.
