Edgar R. Trexler
Edgar R. Trexler
Trex, as he prefers to be called, served as a staffer of Lutheran publications for 30-plus years and was the first editor of the ELCA's version of The Lutheran from 1978 until his retirement in October 1999. He and his wife, Emily, are currently enjoying their retirement in Hendersonville, N.C., where they live much closer to their grandchildren.
