I have been in my position as Assistant to the Editor at The Lutheran since July 2008. It has been challenging, interesting and fun learning about magazine publishing and I enjoy my work and colleagues and look forward to each completed issue of the magazine.
Prior to working at The Lutheran , I spent almost nine years with the ELCA Global Mission unit working with International Development and Disaster Response and the Lutheran World Federation Regional Office in North America. In that position, I often assisted with compiling, editing and proofreading reports, thus working for The Lutheran sparked my interest.
My husband and I are native Chicagoans and live near the Lutheran Center. We attend movies, concerts, local events and spend time with our two grandchildren. I enjoy yoga, floral design, social networking, reading and am an avid gym rat.
